    I have been a patient of Doctors at Cessnock Community Health Care since 2007 and usually find the service is good and staff are helpful. Today I am unwell and in a lot of pain. I tried to get an appointment to see a Doctor and said any Doctor as I was advised my usual GP has quit.. They told me the next available appointment is 2 weeks or more away, but suggested I ring hourly in case they have any cancellations. They also mentioned that they have several patients ringing hourly and it would just be if I was lucky enough to ring when a cancellation is received. They would not even take my details to advise of any cancellations.. This is not acceptable and not expected of a teaching practice. No wonder the GP quit
