Ordered a Strawberry caprioska (a drink that is not easy to stuff up) on Friday and it was amazing. Ordered one on Saturday night and the staff had no idea how to make it. I explained how to make it. He served me half a glass of vodka with 1 crushed strawberry, a wedge of lime and 3 pieces of ice.

Good food but all bar staff should be trained how to make drinks.

I spontaneously decided to go here with my boyfriend a few nights ago. We were late to our booking, I was concerned this would mean it wouldn't be possible to eat. In fact the opposite. Each staff member from the moment we walked in the door were just gorgeous!

We spent over $1000 here for 9 for lunch. Crispy pork belly was not crisp at all although it was very nice. The duck was billed as a confit Maryland and was an over-cooked breast that I could not finish. Serve what you advertise, simple. Dessert was very nice.

I've eaten in restaurants across the world and the best in Newcastle - this was the best dining experience I've ever had, and OH MY GOSH... The most mouth watering food. We began our meal with Garlic bread (yummm), for mains I had the scollops and my boyfriend the crispy skin chicken... the food just melted in our mouths. Following this we ordered a meringue and chocolate dish for dessert sharing them, wow we couldn't even finish them... we had to have small mouthfulls and savoured every moment.

Food was OK. Nothing to rave about. Service was disappointing as it took 40min for a burger. No apology when asked why.

Finally don't forget about the drinks... the beer selection and cocktails - amazing! More importantly the red pinot wine we drank, to die for, also got us plastered.
